Anyone out there that's like me?
Hi peeps. New here! Went to my annual physical with my PCP, I complained of fatigue and neck pain. He ordered some blood tests and recommended I see a rheumatologist (I have an appointment but not until January). My first round of blood work showed a high RA factor (26.3). My PCP ordered additional tests which showed:
-HLA b27 negative,
-CCP IgG/IgA Total Antibody: 7.
His message to me regarding these results was that my additional rheumatic panel testing is negative, but I should follow-up with the rheumatologist as currently scheduled for further evaluation.
So now I'm pretty confused about what any of this means and I have to wait until the end of January to find anything out. Anyone else in the same boat as me? Further background: I'm 25F; neck pain, other body aches, extreme fatigue, and possible psoriasis on my scalp; I have an uncle with celiac, a second cousin with RA, and some other far off relative that possibly had RA.
