If its not little kids in events, its some of the local teenagers wandering in and out as they please.

Just had a group of them wander up to the desk and ask: "Can we have a cookie?" while inching towards the ones I have on the front desk.

Me: I'm so sorry but those are for guests only. Im afraid going to have to ask you to leave.

Teen One: Oh....well, how much is it for a room?

Oh no, nuh uh. First off, you probably don't have an ID or CC on you kiddo. Two: I seriously doubt you or your friends are 21 and over. Three: Just....no.

Me: Let me see.....Rates are going for about 169 plus tax tonight. :)

Teen: Oh... -they start to walk out but stop and turn- How about tomorrow?

Me: They're going for 184 plus. :)

Teen: When do they drop?

Me: It depends on our availablity. (Kid is clearly not getting the hint to scram)

Eventually they do leave but...ugh.... -headdesk- If they want a cookie, there's an awesome ice cream shop just down the road. Go there! Don't be brats and mooch off the hotel. -.-
