Tried a new burger rub recipe - highly recommended now!

Recipe

I was looking to try something other than salt & pepper on my beef, so I took to the internet. Stumbled across this recipe, and gave it a try. Sprinkled it liberally on both sides of some cheap 80/20 preformed patties from Aldi, ran for 3hr at 131F before resting / patting dry and searing on a piping hot cast iron skillet. The result was hands-down one of the best burgers I've ever made. I think I'm actually going to go a little higher with the temp next time, as I found the texture to be a little too soft for my preference. But the taste itself was fantastic. Just the smell alone when opening the bag....dang. Anyway...the link:

Note: I made ours without cayenne due to my better half's dietary restrictions.
