Spring 2019 Transfer Student Here, Have a few Questions

Hey friends,

I'm a North Carolina native who decided to venture to the north for my first semester of college. I chose Michigan State without visiting yada yada yada I'm transferring to NCSU for the Spring semester.

I put in an on-campus housing application for North Hall and the Avent Ferry Complex, anyone got an idea how likely I am to get one of those options?

I'm also wondering if any of you know about the availability of advisors right before winter break? I've been trying to get in contact with an advisor from my college (Natural Sciences - Forest Management) but my emails have gone unanswered for a while after an initially surprising amount of responses.

Also, if anyone's currently living in North Hall or the Avent Ferry Complex, what's it like? Do you enjoy it? Anything I should know before moving in (assuming I get into one of those options)?
