How to make essay about immigration not cliche?
I moved from the Philippines when at a young age with my mother. Typically people will write about a moment in their life that has defined them, and so I chose to write about this. I know it's a cliche topic, especially for the male asian math mold, but how can I add an unique take to it that would separate me from that?
Im not sure what motifs are typically in an immigration essay so I wouldn't know what to avoid.
