Going to fabric (london) alone?

So I have tickets for this event at fabric this weekend. Unfortunately my friend had to pull out, and I've been unsuccessful at convincing anyone else to go.

I'm in 2 minds - I've read the stuff here about how you should go alone, and I really really don't want to miss out as they're my favourite DJs who I'll rarely get the chance to see...

But on the other hand I feel like it's quite risky going alone. After hearing about the strict airport-esque door policy they have there, and prison like security, I'm worried the door staff will be funny with me, and think I'm a dealer as I'll be by myself, and refuse me entry or thoroughly search me, then I'll be stranded in London for the night - I don't live in London and was going to get the train back early in the morning once I leave.

Any thoughts? Has anyone here gone to fabric alone?
