Matched to Stanford--a couple questions

Hi guys! Obviously, I'm thrilled that I got in. Full ride. Best email of my life.

But now that the high is fading, I'm starting to think of what it actually means if I was to attend. I read through the answers on the other post of a QB scholar, but I have some more questions.

  1. Obviously, QB is for low income kids so I'm pretty poor. Will that keep me from having a great 4 years? Will I be able to travel/to have fun/entertainment/etc?
  2. How does a school of such a high prestige have shitty mental health resources??
  3. I'm terrified I got in, but I won't be able to make it. How different is it from highschool? Of course, I'm assuming it's harder, but is it unbearable?
  4. How supportive is the community? Is there school spirit?
  5. I'm from the Northeast. I'm used to snow, changing seasons, a "white Christmas", etc; if any of you guys have moved from the NE, how different is Cali?

Thank you guys :)
