I Almost Drowned And Nobody Cared

Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not. A while back, I was on an out-of-state school trip to Philadelphia. It was pretty fun for a while, even though it was centered around history (i dont like history). That didn't last very long, though.

We were staying in a hotel for the duration of the trip. That hotel had a pool. I couldn't swim at the time, so I just stayed in the shallow section. Eventually i accidentally moved into the deep area while trying to escape someone who was splashing me. I pretty much just flailed around for a while until I somehow reached the edge of the pool. I know, not very smart, but I could only think "woah i know i kinda want to die but this isnt very fun i gotta not die" (maybe a bit more freak-out-ish than that). I SAW multiple people that acknowledged I was there, but didn't do anything. I tried to grab onto someone's arm and they just moved away. The other people just looked at me weird and went back to whatever they were doing.

Again, not sure if this is the right place to post, but I never really told anyone except for a few close friends.
