Am I (19F) asking him (23) for too much?
So I’ve (19y) been talking to a guy (23y) for about a month. I’m pretty sure i’ve gotten too invested too quick and may have started to fall for him, not 100 percent. The past three times we’ve hung out I’ve slept at his place, we don’t have sex but we do make out and our chemistry is amazing. We really vibe together and I feel so comfortable in his arms. The past guys i’ve talked to, I haven’t felt the way like I do with him. I’ve also never gotten so close to someone, both sexually and emotionally, in such a short time for the exact reason of catching feeling too soon and getting hurt. So last night I texted him and asked what he wanted so were on the same page and he said something serious. But his actions really contradict him. I asked him if “you promise” and he was upset that I was doubting him. I’ve had past relationships with no reassurance, and just pure emotional abuse which is why i’m so hesitant to trust anyone. I really just needed to be told that he really did like me and he was actually interested in me, and not just using me. The last thing I texted him was at 11 pm and was “ok pls just understand that it takes me a long to actually trust someone and be comfortable with them” and he never responded and now it’s 5pm the next day. It just hurt that I asked him what he wanted and I was explaining that i’m scared to trust anyone and he didn’t say that he wasn’t going to hurt or that he really liked me but instead came off like It’s wrong I feel this way. I hate that I’ve fallen for him and let him into my life both sexually and emotionally, but is there hope for this relationship? Should I text him or just leave him alone and end the whole thing?
tl;dr: The guy i’ve been talking to for the past month has really been getting close to me emotionally and physically ( w out sex). I was looking for reassurance and telling him how it’s hard for me to trust and he just never answered my text and it’s been about a whole day with out a response. should i text him again or just leave it.
