Is machamp still useful?

I'm trying to complete the pokedex in let's go, and the trade evolutions are the only ones I have left. I almost have a machamp right now (78 candies) and I'm wondering if I should keep it in go so I can use it in pvp battles, or if I'm better off using other pokemon and getting the shiny charm in let's go
