JC4 is a diamond that has to be polished
I've played all the JC titles and I honestly loved each one. They all had something unique about it that made my experience enjoyable. Although my favorite title I wll always be JC2 for the PS3, JC4 is best I'll get for current-gen. I have a PSPro so, I'm not sure much different the visuals are for bases and other consoles but, they look good to me. It's nothing to write home about but hey, since when were graphics my "top priority"? The game play is pretty fun, eye catching, and smooth, which is good for me since I mainly just zip back and forth and destroy everything in all the titles. Some might say that 4 is a copy of 3 (with added weather effects) but honestly, I have no issue with that, considering most of us played titles that use the same engine. Also, yes, I HAVE encountered BUGS but they aren't as pervasive as you might think, at least in my opinion, and it sure doesn't ruin the fun unless I wanna stop every 10 feet use eagle eyes on the environment.
With all this being said, JC4 is a good game, and I am holding out for updates to really polish and iron out the flaws. It may not appeal to everyone but not every game needs to. If someone enjoys it, they should be be encouraged to buy it and see for themselves and if not, then simply don't but, let's not talk this game down to anyone who is interested just because it didn't meet the expectations of others.
P.S.- Also, I really don't want this to be whole "release buggy and fix it later" mentality to be the norm... Step your game up AAA devs.
