Need help fixing a Car Starter

Hi, I have a 2003 Chevy Venture. The starter has gone bad on it and it wont start at all now. I had tapped on the starter a few times to get it to run so I could get it back home but now its just not starting at all. Its a very low car. I cant get it up on ramps and my only way to lift it up to fix the starter is said ramps. Ive tried pushing it (With help) and even in neutral it wont budge. Damn things heavy XD. Ive got a jack that goes up about a foot, a set of 6 ton jack stands, and thats about it. anyone have any ideas on how I can get under this POS. im out of options.
