USA in Malta

(Serious Post) I've been married to my Maltese wife for 15 years. We go back to Malta (Sliema) once or twice a year. My wife lost her father a year ago and has been in a pretty bad way recently (the year anniversary is the 7th). This morning she came at me pretty hard about moving back to Malta. I love Malta, but we have built a life here in the states. We have 2 homes, jobs, 2 children (13 and 15). Any thoughts or ideas about an American shutting life down and moving back home for the greener grass?
