[Help] My dogs can't see each other without starting to play
I have two dogs, a four year old Siberian Husky and a seven months old Golden Retriever. My husky is quite dominant so it took some training and time to get him accustomed to the fact that he would have to share the house. So I kept them separated while I wasn't there to supervise them, and the husky did growl and snap at the pup a few times.
However, now and in a sudden change of attitude, my husky loves to play with the golden, they can't see each other without getting excited and running all over the house playing, I'm not against it of course but I don't want them trashing the house everytime they see each other and not learning to just chill out together. My other concern is that while from my experience their body language seems to be a playful one, I want your opinion on whether they are actually playing or my husky is just trying to dominate my golden.
I can separate them easily enough, the past couple weeks I have been giving them threats when they aren't playing to reward that behavior but there has been no change whatsoever, they now stop and sit when they see a threat and get right back to playing when they eat it.
I tried to just let them play until exhaustion but they just take short breaks and get right back to it even when they are obviously tired (which is why I'm concerned it may actually a domination game). I'm attaching a video so you can judge yourselfs the body language.
Thank you in advance.
TL;DR Dogs don't stop playing, I'm concerned it might actually be a domination issue.
