[NEWBIE] Probably dumb newbie question

Hi, I'm new to guitar and this sub, and I'm not even sure if this is the place to ask it. This may sound like a stupid question, but would locking nuts work with Ibanez's "FAT 6" bridge or does it only work with "Floyd Rose" bridges (every locking nut I've seen has said "Floyd Rose Locking Nut")? I've been looking into getting the GRX70QA, but I read that the whammy isn't very good without locking nuts.
