Your argument ignores conservatives’ view on abortion. Most conservatives view abortion as murder. So what you are saying is we should be ok with you murdering a child because you can’t afford to take care of them. Would it be ok to murder a five year old because you can’t afford to feed him? No. So it seems pretty consistent to me.

Take responsibility for the child, or put them up for adoption.

Not everyone can be guaranteed a good life, but everyone should be guaranteed a life.
