Do you think making Casual Phantom Draft F2P would help with playerbase and general perception of the in-game economy?

Discussion

No rewards. No ability to play Constructed or Expert anything. Just Casual Phantom Draft for people to try the game and, if they enjoy it, buy the game for $20.

It becomes a free to play title like Valve is familiar with, gets the game into people’s hands (because it really is a great game) , doesn’t affect the card economy in any way, and they could upgrade at any point if they wanted to play Expert or Constructed.

It’s just an idea. And you may have to compensate current owners, but it would certainly be a way of getting people to give it a try who got blown over by all the mad shouting about it having a pay-to-play model.
