NBA 2K19 Phone Issue

In MyCareer mode, I don’t know if it’s just how the game now is or what, but I NEVER get texts from anyone. I feel like the game is way less socially interactive than any other 2K in previous years. You don’t get to hang with players anymore. Or anything like that. I played an entire season and won a championship, and I’ve maybe got 6 different people that have texted me VERY seldom throughout the season. I know it seems small to complain about. I just want to know if this is normal or my file is corrupted or something. It’s annoying. And you get no VC bonus for winning a chip or anything. This shit is strange.

PLEASE HELP.
