Not gettin coins from defending gyms.

Anyone not getting coins from defending gyms? I have had several Pokémon come back with Max’s coins and they aren’t deposited in my store. I’ve messaged support but get a robot reply with how coins work. It’s a little discouraging so I was hoping someone here has had luck resolving this.

Thanks all who reply.

Edit: thanks to all who replied. And for all the info. I didn’t realize that I got coins from a return at 0024hrs. I also didn’t fully understand the coin system. I thought it was a per PM and not per day total. I also learned that the news button will show me all the notifications. I think my mystery is solved.
