What did ypu do woth ypur belongings?

Before you hit the road to become a digital nomad living abroad, what did you do with your belongings back at home that's mostly memorable childhood stuff, creations, photos, memorabilia, sentimental gifts, etc? Did you put it in storage? Friend's house? Parent's house? Or take a picture and toss it?
