Scared to follow dreams
Hello, I don’t even know where to start. I’m a currently at a top 20 university In the u.s and I’m sick of it. I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur, I’m huge into cars which fueled me to thrive to be successful. I come from a family of immigrants who moved to the u.s with a $100, now my dad is one of the top doctors in the state and my family lives a very nice life because of it. Everyone else is my family is not in the u.s living across the world they are doctors, lawyers, engineers, and even a CEO of a Super common beverage company (not going to name it but you have heard of it ). Anyway it’s just my parents are in the u.s and I really don’t consider my self to have any family to fall back on we are really alone in this county. I just don’t see the point of college at this point despite my family history of higher education. Once admitted to my university you have to apply for a specific college and I’m not “smart” enough to study business because I didn’t do well in calculus and economics classes. It annoys me because I know more about business then most of the professors who tell me I’m not smart enough to go into business. What I really want is to move to L.A and become a real estate developer. I’m super into real estate watching people like grant cardone, meet Kevin , Grham Stephen, bigger pockets and any other respected real estate guru. I don’t know how I’m going to become a big real estate developer but I will figure it out and become successful regardless. I have 2 semesters of college left so I guess I’ll stay and finish but it’s draining me mentally that I could be out working at my dreams. Also my dad has spent close to 200k on my brother and I education so I don’t want him to waste his money at this point because finishing college means everything to him. I really don’t know what I’m looking to hear from you guys but any input would be nice. Have any of you dropped everything to chase your dream and if so what’s your story ?
