Not sure of how to balance this.

Soo, i'm starting a project where i am turning a old rpg campaign into a audionovel for youtube. I know the chances that this might be turn out to be proffitable are really slim, but i'm having lots of fun doing this.

Readers are usually open minded with how long a chapter is, because you can start and stop reading whenever you want.

BUT people are very resistant to give a chance to any youtube video with more than ten minutes, soo one chapter must be limited to 10 minutes.

Soo here's the problem. When i created this story i made sure that my setting would not be a generic variation of tolkien... with elves, dwarves and e.t.c. soo the audience will not know the context of the story just by hearing "medieval fantasy".

This world is conceptually weird... and because i need to make each chapter short i feel like i'm dropping my audience in the story with too little context.

I don't want to be the kind of author that spends too much time on world building... but i also don't want to leave my audience lost.

I'm already trying to cut everything that is not essencial, and i can go deeper on some stuff in other stories.

How can i give the audience, a good idea of the context in which the story happens without having to dedicate a whole chapter for information dump?
