[Serious] Medical students of States with legalized Marijuana: How did your schools/teaching hospitals respond to legalization?
State legalization of marijuana takes effect tomorrow in Michigan. I'm curious of how the schools and hospitals in other states with legalized weed have responded to legalization. At our school we recieved only a vague email allerting us the continued federal illegality and that we are putting our current ability to see patient's as students and our future careers in jeopardy should we partake. Legally, professionally, and socially I think this is a fair statement and warning for our school to make regardless of my personal feelings on the subject. I'm genuinely curious if this has been the response across the board, or if other changes or actions have been put forth by the varying schools.
It's been a long time since I've indulged for obvious reasons but with tomorrow I can't help but feel that little urge to partake in a mildly exciting day in history (for our state).
