Ethernet Question

Hello! I am kinda a newbie with all this so please bear with me:

So, without going too in-depth I plan on using ethernet tomorrow and wanted to know if it is faster than standard wifi in this case.

So basically I have a 2017 Macbook pro hooked up with my USB dongle and then connected to that dongle is the ethernet dongle (because I'm cheap lol) and then a Cat6 cable. The wifi at the location is like 2 ping, 200 MBS and about the same download speed.

Would I be better off just using straight wifi or hooking up to an in the wall ethernet port? I really want to ensure a stable connection to the websites on both ends and I feel like the ethernet would be faster and more stable in this case? Any info or questions on more specifics are welcome. Thank you!!
