Recently stopped playing games and now I think most gamers are mental, is that normal?

Recently I quit playing video games all together in order to get my online business to the next level. I been realizing that I need to use all of my time as efficiently as possible and found that games tend to add zero value to my life. They dont make me happy anymore, they dont improve the quality of my life and ultimately I dont see what they really do in general.

Growing up games had some value to me. I used to play alot of story driven games or had friends that played x games and it was a good way to hang out. Now in the online era of gaming, I see gaming as a trap. Now a days most games are all played online and involve no human interaction. Friends I know that say "oh i have friends from gaming...i just talk to them online" I feel like are partially crazy lol. They never actually see these people or have any real relationships with them yet still think they mean something to their lives. Alot of these new era gamers seem like they will have some big mental issues later in life since most of them dont understand how to develop real relationships with human beings.

Not only on the internet but just previous friends I had, most people I feel that are "gamers" are legit mental. They all have some sort of mental disorder or some massive red flag that makes it hard to spend time on any of these people. I used to have friends who just wanted to play the card game Yugioh their whole lives. I liked Yugioh alot but these dudes were just mental about it. They never wanted to get rich or fuck hot chicks or see the world or do anything crazy or accomplish anything meaningful. Nope, life to them was all about beating down noobs/ripping them off in trades along with jerking off to hentai.

Did most people who quit games used to have alot of bizarre friends that you left behind at some point? Even like one of my best friends Im not even connected to anymore. The dude is a bum who sits around playing games instead of trying to find a decent job. He wasnt always like this but I think somewhere along the line he just lost his mind.
