Delivering in Exeter and start up time

Just wondering if any has worked in Exeter before and knows how busy the area is? Also how long does it take to start working from applying to taking deliveries? I've not signed up yet as bike is being repaired just curious if I should sign up before my bike is ready to save time? Bike should be fixed in a week
