Something that scares me about this game...

I started out with playing the boats. I had a great couple of games unlocked all the tier 1 boats, and got to the higher tier ones. One thing that bothers me tho. I had a great game, where I killed 2 destroyers and 4 other ships, together with 3 planes, with 17k damage done. This was done with a boat that had a max of 40mm gun against 2 ships armed with 127mm's that could one shot me.

I got out, expecting to get atleast 4k xp, especially since I did so well and went up against ships way higher tier than me.

Nope. Got 2200. And that was running a 50% booster. For all of you aces out there, how much more grindy does this game get? I had a great game, where I had more than 2x points than second person on my team, and only got this few, and that was running a multiplier. If the grind is this bad now, how much worse will it get later on? Is it worth even wasting my time on this game?
