Are there any Space Marine chapters that have a Techmarine for a Chapter Master?

Has there ever been an instance where a Space Marine who was trained by the Adeptus Mechanicus in the ways of the Machine God, and then honorarily gained the top leadership position over his chapter? How would it effect the rest of the chapter if it's Chapter Master just so happens to also be a Techmarine?
