PSA: Always get your horse and not the Scrawny Nag by healing it.

I keep seeing a lot of posts complaining about the Scrawny Nag always coming instead of their main horse, but I think people don't realise that your main horse won't be truly "active" if it has died of your own fault at some stage - even if you retrieve it from a stable.

To get your horse back and stop the Scrawny Nag, heal your horse in the stables menu (left d-pad) for $4 and 2min wait, then retrieve it from the stable or kill the Scrawny Nag. Now your horse will always come to you when called. This method is also cheaper than spending money on horse insurance or revives
