2nd hand Maschine MK2 that "includes" Komplete Select.

I am considering a purchase of a second hand Maschine MK2.

So far I found 2 offers one guy offers a version that includes Komplete Select for a slightly higher amount but from what I've heard is that Komplete Select is nowdays free. Unless there are some benefits for people that previously paid for it?

Naturally, both sellers would transfer their license to me so no need to remind me about that.

The box has a "includes premium instruments and effects" ribbon that goes around it like in this example.

Should I buy the slightly more expensive version or is it just a waste of money?
