Early transition and feeling really isolated, where can I find people to talk to?
Hi, I hope this post isn't inappropriate.
I'm a transfeminine person in my 20s and I've been trying to transition for a couple of years at this point. I've suffered from severe depression and I've been given an adult diagnosis of autism. After a lot of academic problems and delays I've returned to my studies and my performance has been a mixed bag (which is pretty encouraging in my case, actually).
I've been taking oestrogen more recently and I've found a real improvement in my depression but I find my life to still be rather stressful. Most of the people in my life are cis and while I have trans people in my life I don't find them very socially available. Instant messaging or otherwise talking online have always been easier for me, likely due to my autism, and I haven't really found anywhere online where I can just talk to people in my situation. I guess I'm feeling isolated. I apologise if this post is rambling, I've never posted on reddit before.
Anyway, does anyone have any advice about where I can find trans people to talk to online? Actually, any advice relevant to my sort of situation would be really helpful.
