Looking for information on taking my thyroid health seriously for the first time in 14 years. ANY advice would be so appreciated.

Hypothyroid

Hey! I am a 27y F with Hypothyroidism. I was diagnosed with Graves at about 13y, and took radioactive iodine to treat it. I am currently prescribed Levothyroxine 137mcg.

I have not been steadily treated for roughly 10 years.

I went to the doctor about a year ago, and I was told by two different practitioners that my levels were the highest they've ever seen, and I was a little freaked out about how they they reacted. I took my dosage correctly for 3 months, until my medication ran out. I never went to get tested again and get another percription. I also didn't feel a difference from being on medication and how I've felt without it.

I don't have health insurance, and I am not financially equipped for doctor's visits. That, along with the depression and anxiety are what lead to this ridiculous fear of going to the doctor and getting it sorted out. I understand that this is severe and I needed to have this as my priority #1 ten years ago.

I am calling to make an appointment with an Endocrinologist in a couple of days, but I wanted to gain as much information possible before I go. I want to help them find a solution quickly and efficiently, and I want to learn as much as I can about my situation as well. I'm looking for diet tips and things that can help in addition to medication too! I'm beyond ready to make necessary changes.

TL:DR- I'm looking for information/advice/personal stories/articles on how to basically restart my treatment. Diet tips, and ESPECIALLY anything to help with the soul crushing lethargy. Please help me educate myself!
