Bad Clinic Experiences

I'm sure we've all had bad experiences at the clinics so I thought I'd make a thread to share them all.

I have a bunch but the worst one was when I had 5 carries and I was at my appointment to get my 6th. I was so proud of myself of making it 6 months clean I was smiling from ear to ear. They call the previous appointment in to take his urine test, he goes into his appointment, then I take my urine test.

I go into my appointment with the doctor, and he says I tested positive for opiates. This was almost a joke to me, I hadn't used opiates for over 2 years. I asked if he was serious and he assured me he was. I asked if I could take another urine test, however, I could barely get a few drops out as I had just gone. Since there wasn't enough in the cup, the nurse POURED the second cup into the first cup. This was when I noticed that the patient before me had the same name as me. Regardless, of course if the first cup shows up positive, adding the second cup isn't going to change anything.

I asked to take a third test to be uncontaminated, and the doctor absolutely flipped out. "No fucking way am I giving you a third chance". "You're a drug addict, you lie all the time". "Now take your shitty little life and get the fuck out of my office". He then smashed everything on his desk like a complete child, followed by raising his fist at me and telling me he would "fuck my little ass up".

I left, determined to never go to that clinic again. To my surprise, the police show up about an hour later. The doctor told the police that I threatened to kill him and smash up his car. The cop warned me that there's cameras all over the clinic, and I said great! You'll see exactly what I'm talking about when he raised his fist at me and if the cameras have audio you'll hear how unprofessionally he handled a patient. The officer went back to the clinic and the doctor refused to talk to her (likely realizing what he, a man in his late 40's, had done).

I could go on all day with stories about the clinic but that one was the most ridiculous. If you're wondering, I found a new clinic with an excellent doctor and friendly receptionists. I don't attend clinics anymore as I'm clean from methadone, but in a weird sort of way I kind of miss them.
