Is going out to eat frequently that bad if I'm in good financial shape?
I'm 25 and I like to grab take out for lunch (usually healthy options) on 3 or 4 days of the week. This sub frequently says no to eating out and bringing your own lunch in the name of cost savings. However, I don't have any debt, I max out my 401k and Roth IRA every year, and have a healthy emergency fund. Going out to eat brings me some joy in an otherwise boring work day and gives me an opportunity to step out of the office to clear my head. I don't waste money on material possessions or luxuries but I love trying out new restaurants and foods! Is anyone else like this?
