Tanking mythic mythrax too many stacks due to essence sheer

We are progressing on mythrax and have a 2% wipe. I am a blood DK and am having trouble getting too many stacks due to essence sheer from the adds during phase 2. I can usually enter the phase with literally no stacks after the initial blast which causes everyone to drop orbs. My problem is that both tanks get essence sheered and it seems like one tank (usually myself) has to take an additional essence sheer during the phase and produce no orbs. Even though I enter the phase with very few stacks I am leaving the phase with around 50 (due to essence sheers). I can pick up orbs as phase 1 begins but i am then already at 20 and I just start to get behind and can never completely clear my stacks again.

Is there anyway around getting the additional sheer that doesn't produce orbs?

If there isn't, what is the best way for the 2 tanks to take care of the orbs and which tank should pick up the boss starting the next phase?
