If you've been to any; how old do old cities in the Americas feel to you?

Does somewhere like Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, Mexico City, Mexico, Quebec City, Canada, or even Boston, United States give you that same feel of oldness that you'd find in Europe, or does it feel newer like somewhere stereotypical in the Us, Canada, or Australia?

Feel closer to stereotypical European oldness, or stereotypical United States newness to you?
