Do you think most people would vote for the collective food?

More specifically - do you think most people would vote for the collective good of their respective societies if it were NOT in their self interest in the short term?

I realize that’s a broad question that’s subjective and I’m not looking to challenge any responses. I’m just curious about your perception / gut feel.

Feel free to qualify your response however. E.g “Yes, if folks are informed enough of the collective good” or “Yes for certain things but not other things” or “Yes if folls know that others would also vote for the same”, etc.
