Vitex - Thoughts, experiences, regrets?

Hi All,

I need your help.

I have been taking vitex (1500mg daily) for approximately 4 months (with a break from BFP to MC October/November) due to long anovulatory cycles of ~85 days. I have read so many mixed reviews on it, though.

I've read that it may have CAUSED my miscarriage via a drop in progesterone or the herb itself? I have also read that it can PREVENT miscarriage?

Has anyone used vitex?

Is anyone still using vitex?

Has anyone had a successful pregnancy after using vitex to conceive? (I understand majority may not have had an LC yet)

I understand that no one here is a doctor but I'm just looking for opinions and experiences.

EDIT: Of the four months I took it, it regulated my cycles and I ovulated with each one.
