Windows 10 - Can't copy from USB Passport

I have a 500gb passport and a 1T passport. I want to copy all the info from the 500 to the 1T but it won't copy. I can access files directly from the 500 but nothing happens when I drag or copy/paste.

update - I can copy individual files but not folders
