Sending ACT scores late after sending SAT scores

If I decide that I want to send in ACT scores way after the submission deadline, will schools still accept it? My ACT and SAT are about the same but I want to send both now incase colleges consider one over the other. I submitted all my SATS for all my schools, and a lot of decisions don’t come out till next year so would sending my ACT now allow it to still be considered? Would it reflect poorly sending them later?
