GS65 trackpad stopped working!!! Need assistance!

Hello guys,

Can someone please help me. Last night I updated some drivers (not related to synaptics track-pad) and maybe some of them caused the track-pad to stop working. I just realized it the next day when I went to work that my track-pad is not working anymore.

Drivers updated:

• Batteries (Microsoft surface ACPI-compliant control method battery)
• Bluetooth (inter(R) wireless Bluetooth(R) )
• IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers ( Intel(R) 300 series chipset family sata AHCI controller)
• Sound, video and game controllers (Intel(R) display audio)
• Sound video and game controllers (NVIDIA high definition audio)
• Network adapters (Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9560)
• System Devices (Intel(R) thermal subsystems - A379)
• System Devices (Intel(R) SPI (flash) controller - A324)
• System Devices (Intel(R) management engine interface)

I tried troubleshooting with next steps:

• Checked the device manager which said my track-pad diver is up to date
• Checked the MSI driver and app center which said my synaptic drivers is not installed (weird, so I downloaded it and installed it but on the driver and app center still says it's not installed even though it says all drivers are working in device manager)

Nothing worked so far.Any suggestions?

[update] Just realized the click function (when i press it down) is working on the track-pad but moving the cursor and just tapping the track-pad still not working
