Alchemical Affinity and Universal Formula

How does Alchemical Affinity and Universal Formula interact? As Alchemical Affinity goes, you are able to copy any forumla into your spell book. Could it be argued that Alchemical Affinity counts Universal Formula as a wizard spell, since you copy it into your book as you would a regular spell? If so, could this be used to cast any spell on the Wizard spell list of 3rd level and lower?
