Oh the plateau
This is a little vent I guess...
I've been skating for 14 months now, had a little break (around a month) because of a small injury, I hardly miss practice. I'm still on the fresh meat program tho, we have a MS test in January and I'm afraid I won't pass again, not that it is rly a problem, even tho I rly want to pass I know I can try again after a few months, but it is a bit demotivating...
I've been more dedicated lately, I started going to the gym, I apply myself more at practices but I kinda reached a plateau :/ I noticed I improved on strength and resistance, but skill wise I don't feel much improvement, it's like I always do the same things, my frustration is the plow stop that I can't seem to do properly. My coaches say I have improved a lot, but I don't rly see it lately, in the spam time of 2 to 3 months. So idk, sometimes I feel a bit discouraged because I'm not improving on some specific skills and then there is the pressure of learning them till the MS test date... Any comments or advices? :)
