I (18M) am having trouble understanding what my crush (18F) is implying in our conversation.
I am wrapping up my first semester in college. I have been talking seriously with this girl for about 2 weeks. I have known her for about 3 months. I have noticed that she has been getting closer with me. While we were watching a movie, she put her hand on my leg and was visibly snuggling up to me. The only other people in the room with us was another couple and they agreed that she was getting closer. I was up with her until 3AM that night. She also invited me to a hockey game and was very excited about it. We were planning on hanging out this weekend. Then, after talking a lot today, we were talking about how tired we were and she said that she couldn't sleep because she wanted to sleep next to someone. I cluelessly answered "Someone like me?". Then she immediately replied afterward claiming she didn't remember what she said to me. I tried backing myself up by telling her I just didn't understand what she was saying. She would not provide a real answer and then she proceeded to avoid me in the dining hall. Sequentially, she posted on social media a picture captioned "boys suck." I communicated with her later this night and she told me she was upset after the loss of a friend. I offered support to her, and she vaguely responded "It's ok. Just don't take people for granted." That is where we left off. I'm very confused about what all this means. Do you have any advice? Does she like me? Was she trying to imply something in her texts? Was I responding the right way? Thanks.
