Help me use up my stationery collection! 21/NZ
Looking for snail mail and postcard international penpals but happy to email a few times before sharing mailing addresses. I have a lot of letter writing sets lying around and I would love to use them up (and have an excuse to buy more!).
I am hoping for a penpal (or a few penpals) to write to maybe once a month, or once every two months, so not too big a commitment on either end.
I once had an email penpal from England but I accidentally ghosted him when I lost my email password when I was young and technologically challenged. If that was you, I'm sorry, my friend.
I am 21 and in my final year of undergraduate studies in New Zealand. I spent five years studying French but I am appalling at it - can read but not write. If you are in the opposite situation we would be perfect penpals! But English speakers more than welcome too.
My hobbies include embroidery, reading, tv watching and tramping (aka hiking!). At the moment I am going on a 18th and 19th century classics binge, with a big focus on Jane Austen (her books and non-fiction books about her time period). But I have other reading interests as well, e.g. Tolkien, Terry Pratchett, Stephen King, Bill Bryson, Lucy Worlsey... and my old favourites, J.K Rowling, Rick Riordan etc).
I used to play the piano but my parents sold mine because they couldn't bear listening to me practice. My recorder also vanished under mysterious circumstances. I am a bad singer but my car and shower don't mind, and I'm also a terrible dancer.
I love to travel and have been to over 15 different countries, most about 3 years ago when I spent twelve months working and travelling around the UK and Europe. Now that I am a student travel is less on the agenda, of course!
Ok so I'm not the most interesting person on the planet but I figure some of you lot are boring as well so message me or comment below and we can try to find something to write about! :)
