laptop > tablet still. especially for apple. the ipad pro is cool, but if you do anything engineering/stem related, it won't carry you very far without its limitations.
Macbook air. The battery life and the trackpad is great.
Masteringphysics doesn't let you do some problems on mobile/tablet. They tell you to hop on a computer to do them. Not sure if this is relevant to you. Also, wHat'S A cOmpUTer¿
I’m getting the MacBook thank you all!
I have an iPad Pro 2018 12.9in that was purchased in October. Used for less than 2 weeks. Includes Apple Pencil if you're interested. I can meet up with you at UIC.
Get a normal Dell laptop and put Linux on it. Cheaper and will run better than macbooks
MacBook. Trust me. I used iPad Pro with keyboard and pen during the first semester of my freshman year and it sucked. It’s all cool and stuff but MacBook is far more versatile.
Why’s that?
For example, if you are planning to take a math class, doing your homework on myMathLab is going to drive you nuts. The keyboard disconnects randomly and you can’t change angles, so you are stuck at a certain angle. When writing essays the keyboard randomly presses buttons. Some pages and functionalities won’t even display properly. And I can give you many more examples..
Didn’t think of that, I’ll get the MacBook thanks!
