Connecting Events. Looking for Advice!
Hi there. I'm a pretty inexperienced keeper who is running a group of five with the intent of tackling Masks in the future. At the moment I'm just shoe stringing some scenarios together in order to get people engaged with the game itself before dropping something as daunting as Masks.
As of now, my group has run The Haunting, Deadlight and Edge of Darkness. With the Dead Light ambushing the investigators on the drive to Arkham.
After defeating Walter Corbitt, the Investigators have found evidence that they are being watched. (In my game, the Chapel's eye symbol doubles basically as basically an occult security camera. Though I haven't decided or explained how it fully works. A PC did successfully identify it)
They've just completed Edge of Darkness, and I intend for one of the PCs to meet Jackson Elias at Rupert's funeral (Rupert funded a few of Elias's books). Marion Allen was also murdered by the Bloody Tongue cult.
I want to run Star on the Shore as I've continuously referenced Reverand Michael Thomas and the Chapel of Contemplation is aware of the Investigators. But I'm struggling to find a way to link things back to Elias and the Bloody Tongue.
I'm basically looking for things to run after SotS or a clever way to link everything together.

In my campaign Rev Thomas is seeking occult books. He actually went after the JuJu house for their stuff since he was tracking their ritualistic killings. In my campaign he managed to capture the dead light and was able to use it as a legitimate threat against other cultists to steal their occult books or artifacts. My players failed to put an end to Corbitt (they ran from their first scenario) so the Chapel of Contemplation cult has been gaining power ever since they stirred Corbitt to action.
