Can't even dock there so this mission would be fundamentally broken :D

That's okay because you can't even accept it. It never gets added to your mission planner. I've had quite a few missions like this.

Pirates have Maja dust farms literally right next to a major Khaak installation. Must be something going in between the two

Cool, are the Kha'ak actually back? Lore-wise, what brought them back? Sorry haven't really been following this game

I have no idea lore wise, but they're definitely in the game. I had a nice chat with one just yesterday.

Lore wise, they are not "back". Their last hive got obliterated in Terran Conflict. I think there's only small pockets of them remains throughout the whole X universe.
