Mmm not sure about that. It was released about a year and a half ago, because I remember playing it during the summer of 2017. It was soft launched on iOS devices for only certain countries including Canada.
Supercell often wants to release games that they think will last many many years. If they create a game that they don’t believe is worthy of this, they will trash the game, as they’ve done with many games in the past.
Hurray for Global! Now we can all enjoy the game and keep having fun with Brawl Stars :)
