GEOTUS has given my aunt the chance for life

I didn’t think that the right to try was the biggest accomplishment he had done but I now realize how big of a deal this is.

My aunt just got diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer. It’s unfortunately stage 4. Normally she would have a <1% chance for 5 year survival.

The doctor told her that there is an experimental drug she could try. Testing showed promising results of 20%+ on 5 year survival. It’s not the best odds but it surely beats what she would have had.

I asked the doctor if this is because of the right to try and he said yes. He’s an oncologist and he said he has already save numerous lives because of what they’ve been able to do.
